With 'Need You Now' Lady A as they are lovingly referred to have become a stylistic country pop band with impressive lyrics and a likable sound. Each song on this album flows well, and are wonderfully produced. While some remain stronger than others, the overall effort is pretty good.

While tracks like the title track, and 'American Honey' are certain hits for radio, the one true gem on this album is 'Ready To Love Again'. It is passionate, emotional, raw and honest. Hillary Scott convinced me with this song that she is a star.

This collection does fall into the trap of so many albums, and you will notice a good amount of filler tracks. These tracks don't do anything to help or hinder the overall album. They are there to give the buyer a feeling they have gotten their money's worth. Examples of this would be 'Love This Pain' and 'Hello World' not bad songs. But they are empty, and add nothing to the collection.

Certainly a good overall product, and add to your collection. I'll be excited to see what this powerhouse trio have to offer next go around.
